PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Editor's note: The above video is from August 6 of Governor Tom Wolf recommending no high school sports be played until 2021.
A copy of the letter the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) sent to Governor Tom Wolf's office shows a request for correspondence on possible options for fall sports to proceed.
FOX43 obtained a copy of the letter that you can read below:
Within the letter, the PIAA says its priority has been to advance the possibility of completing its seasons in good fall weather and to "stay away from the heart of flu season."
Last week, Wolf recommended that no high school sports be played until 2021.
Multiple sources say there has been no response from the Governor's Office.
