CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Weather permitting, ramp bridge inspections will be done on Route 581 connecting to Interstate 81 on Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reports.
The inspection will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.
On Tuesday, June 11, there will be alternating left and right lane closures on northbound I-81. On Wednesday, June 12, there will be a right lane restriction on the eastbound Route 581 ramp from southbound I-81.
PennDOT reminds drivers to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
