DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Update, Thursday (10:40 a.m.): A 92-year-old Carlisle man died of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on I-283 South near Mile Marker 1.4 in Swatara Township, according to State Police.
Paul Wolfe was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Phyllis Wolfe, 86, also of Carlisle.
The Wolfes' vehicle was traveling the wrong way on the highway when it struck another vehicle head-on, according to police.
Paul Wolfe was pronounced dead after the crash at Hershey Medical Center.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 29-year-old Lancaster man, suffered minor injuries, according to police.
Phyllis Wolfe was transported to Hershey Medical Center with injuries of unknown severity, according to police.

A portion of Interstate 283 southbound is closed after a crash Wednesday evening.
Emergency dispatchers say crews responded to a reported crash just after 5:30 p.m. on Route 283 southbound.
Injuries were reported, but the extent is unknown.
PennDOT says a portion of the highway is closed and traffic is being diverted on Rt 283 at the 441 Exit.
