LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — A Lebanon County crash caused delays for drivers on Interstate 81 north in Lebanon County this morning.

The crash occurred at mile marker 84 on Sept. 6 and involved a tractor trailer and a box truck, according to a PennDOT spokesperson. The crash was near Exit 85A: PA 934 South - Annville.

All lanes of I-81 northbound were shut down, and traffic was being directed off the highway at Exit 80, PennDOT said. A tow truck arrived around 8:15 a.m., and PennDOT announced that all lanes had reopened around 10 a.m.

As a result of the crash, spilled fuel was on the roadway, officials said. The traffic backlog was about two miles long and will take some time to clear out.

There were also delays on I-81 southbound from rubbernecking, according to 511PA.
