YORK, Pa. — Update, 1:55 p.m. (Oct. 29): Springettsbury Township Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Ziare Jackson, of York.
Jackson was operating a 2024 Suzuki motorcycle that struck the rear end of a 2007 Ford Focus, police said.
Jackson was pronounced dead at Wellspan York Hospital.

One person was killed and a portion of a York County roadway was closed this morning after a crash, according to York County 911 Dispatch.
The York County Coroner's Office says a victim of the crash died at the hospital. More information is expected to be released once all immediate family have been notified.
East Market Street in York was closed between Eisenhower Drive and Industrial Drive, Dispatch said.
