CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Emergency officials in Cumberland County responded to a single-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon.
According to the Cumberland Township Police Department, on Feb. 26 at 2:19 p.m., officers responded to US Route 15 southbound at mile marker 6.6 for a crash. At the scene, officers determined the tractor-trailer left the roadway for unknown reasons, crashing through a guard rail and coming to a final rest in a field.
The driver of the truck was transported to York Hospital.
The tractor-trailer was towed from the scene. One lane from US Route 15 southbound was closed for three hours, according to police.
