DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Dauphin County road has reopened after a Thursday morning crash.

Derry Street was closed just before 3:10 a.m. on Aug. 15 for a "serious" crash in the 5600 block of the roadway, according to the Swatara Township Police Department.

Officers say they arrived to find that a single vehicle had crashed off the north shoulder of the road. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Initial investigation suggests that the vehicle had been traveling westbound before the crash, according to the STPD and Dauphin County Accident Reconstruction Team.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who has pertinent information is asked to call the STPD at 717-564-2550 or leave tips online through the CrimeWatch page.
