YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Editor's note: The above video is from Oct. 27.
Travelers on Interstate 83 will need to pay extra attention next week as PennDOT performs an inspection.
Weather permitting, there will be lane restrictions on I-83 in York County on Monday, Nov. 6 and Tuesday, Nov. 7 so PennDOT can inspect the Route 74/Queen Street bridge spanning the interstate at Exit 16 A/B in York Township.
The inspection is planned to last from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days. There will be alternating morning right lane restrictions and afternoon left lane restrictions in the northbound lanes of I-83 on Monday and in the southbound lanes of I-83 on Tuesday.
PennDOT reminds drivers to remain extra alert and use caution when traveling through work zones.
