Multi-vehicle crash slows traffic on Route 581 West in Camp Hill

The crash occurred around 11 a.m. between Exits 3 and 5 on the Cumberland County highway. One westbound lane has since reopened.

CAMP HILL, Pa. — A multi-vehicle crash on Route 581 West in Cumberland County has closed all lanes, according to emergency dispatch accounts.

The crash was reported shortly after 11 a.m. between Exit 5A (U.S. 11 South/PA 581 West) and Exit 3 (U.S. 11/Carlisle Pike) in the Camp Hill area.

It involved three passenger vehicles, a PennDOT spokesperson said.

All lanes were initially closed, but the left lane in the area has since been reopened, according to dispatch.

There was no word on any injuries.

A PennDOT spokesperson says traffic is being diverted at Exit 5.
