YORK, Pa. — Update (9/14): The York County Coroner has confirmed that an adult male died as a result of the crash.
The adult male driver died at approximately 9:05 p.m. on Sept. 13 after rolling his vehicle, being ejected from his vehicle, and struck by a second driver.
Additional details will be released after the deceased's family is notified.
Previously:
A multi-vehicle crash on I-83 northbound just before the Strinestown exit has left at least one person dead.
Officials say the crash occurred at around 8:25 p.m. on Monday night.
The portion of I-83 northbound between the Emigsville exit and the Strinestown exit is closed for the time being while emergency personnel respond to the scene.
