One-lane bridge closed after partial collapse in Dauphin County

PennDOT is working to place permanent road-closed signs.

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A one-lane bridge is closed in Jackson Township after a partial collapse.

The Halifax Fire Department shared the notice on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.

The bridge over Armstrong Creek is located on the 200 block of Enders Road.

According to officials,  barricades are currently in place to stop people from trying to drive across the bridge but PennDOT is working to place more permanent road closed signs.

There is no word yet on what caused the collapse.
