Here is a list of Pennsylvania highways that closed due to crashes, snow

Highways across the Commonwealth were closed or restricted due to the winter weather conditions and crashes on Tuesday.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Highways across Pennsylvania were affected by the winter weather on Tuesday morning.

Here is a look at roads that were closed or restricted due to crashes and snow. There were also speed and commercial vehicle lane restrictions on central Pennsylvania highways.

Adams County

Route 15

Adams County 911 Dispatch says that conditions are not terrible overall, but advises steering clear of Route 15.

Cumberland County

Cumberland County 911 Dispatch reports that there were several crashes that did not cause injuries and trees down throughout the county. Cars were stuck in areas as well.

Interstate 76

A crash on I-76 between Carlisle and Blue Mountain near milepost 220 has blocked all westbound lanes of travel.

Interstate 81

Multiple vehicles are stuck on I-81 northbound near mile marker 29 in Southampton Township due to the weather conditions. Pennsylvania State Police say they are unsure when the road will open again.

Route 233

U.S. 233 is closed at the top of Blue Mountain for an incident in Cumberland County.

Dauphin County

Harrisburg

City of Harrisburg spokesperson Matt Maisel reports that there are around 30-35 trees down throughout the city. He says the public works department is working to clear roads and walkways as fast as possible.

Lebanon County

The county's 911 dispatch reports that road conditions in the county are "horrible."

Route 117

U.S. 117 is closed between Butler Road and Old Mine Road due to a downed tree and crash in West Cornwall Township.

Route 72

The northbound lanes of U.S. 72 are closed in the areas of Maple Street/Hill Street/Tunnel Hill Road/22nd Street.

Perry County

Freeman Hollow Road

A downed tree in wires closed all lanes of Freeman Hollow Road in both directions between Rock Hollow Road and Apple Ridge Road in Saville Township.

Valley Road and State Road

The area between Valley Road and State Road is closed east and westbound due to a downed tree.

Route 233

U.S. 233 is closed at the top of Blue Mountain for an incident in Cumberland County.

Route 34

The Perry County Emergency Management Agency says U.S. 34 is closed near Newport, south of New Bloomfield and in Shermans Dale.

Route 17 at Route 235

U.S. 17 is closed at U.S. 235 between Millerstown and Liverpool.

York County

Interstate 83

All lanes of I-83 northbound were closed for several hours this morning between Exit 36: PA 262 - Fishing Creek and Exit 39A: PA 114 - Lewisberry Road due to snow accumulation. A PennDOT spokesperson says traffic is now moving, but it may take some time for the backlog to clear.

A multi-vehicle crash also caused a lane restriction on I-83 southbound at Exit 40: Limekiln Road.

I-83 in the area of Reeser's Summit is closed both north and southbound due to vehicles being unable to get up and down the hills, PennDOT said.

Route 24

A downed tree on Route 24 northbound has closed all lanes between Pleasant Valley Road and Sherman Street in Springettsbury Township.
