Coroner called to crash, section of Route 30 temporarily closed

According to York County 911, at least one person was trapped in a vehicle, and a medical helicopter was requested.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Update: The York County Coroner's Office identified Paul Rudolph of New Oxford, Adams County, as the victim of Friday's crash.

His cause of death is listed as multiple traumatic injuries due to a two-vehicle crash.

There will be no autopsy.

Update, 11:30 a.m.: The coroner was called to Wellspan York Hospital following a fatality as a result of the Paradise Township crash. 

The victim has been identified as an 86-year-old man.

More information is expected to be released this evening. 

Previously: A section of Route 30 was closed in Paradise Township due to a crash.

According to York County 911 Dispatch, the crash happened around 9:15 a.m. and involved a large truck and a car. 

Route 30 was temporarily closed at Moulstown Road. It has since reopened. 

Officials say at least one person was trapped in a vehicle and a medical helicopter was requested.
