A bridge in York County will be closed for months starting next week

The closure will be for a replacement project.

YORK COUNTY, Pa. — The bridge on Century Farms Road which crosses the North Branch Muddy Creek in York County will be closed starting June 17, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reports.

The closure will be for a bridge replacement project and is expected to be completed by October 10, 2024.

The $1,285,495 project conducted by CriLon Corp. of Sommerset will include a structure replacement, minor roadway reconstruction, guiderail upgrades and drainage improvements.

A detour will be in place using Laurel Road, Main Street, Red Lion Avenue, Felton Road, Route 24 and Chruch Road.
