LANCASTER, Pa. — A holiday event in Lancaster County is kicking off the festive season with lights, Christmas decorations and a jolly spirit.
Dutch Wonderland’s Winter Wonderland event is set to kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 18, giving families a holiday experience like no other.
"Dutch Winter Wonderland is merrier and brighter than ever," said Courtney Burkarth, marketing director at Dutch Wonderland. "We have 10 all new entertainment experiences, we have 20 rides, tons of shows and activities. So, there is going to be something to do everywhere you look."
This year's new experiences includes Santa's Jolly Lodge, Illumination Lane, A Chris-Mouse Carol puppet show, a holiday scavenger hunt and much more.
It’s a holiday experience that has been nominated for USA Today’s 2023 10 Best Readers' Choice award for the Best Theme Park Holiday Event.
"Dutch Wonderland is a unique experience compared to other amusement parks just because of the quaint and nostalgic vibe we have here," said Burkarth.
Organizers also hope it’s an experience those of all ages will hold onto for years to come.
"This is a great time to bond with your kids,"[These] are memories that stick with you and stick with your kids of just having fun together," said Burkarth. "I think that that is probably the most fulfilling thing just to create these experiences that people do cherish as they grow older and continue to bring the next generation."
Dutch Winter Wonderland runs through January 1, 2024. For more information on tickets and other new activities head to Dutch Wonderland's website.
