STRASBURG, Pa. — While leaves change color and fields are harvested, Strasburg Scooters in Lancaster County is giving people a unique chance to see the best fall sights of the area.
The company offers a wide range of guided scooter tours that give people an opportunity to experience central Pennsylvania’s Amish country like never before.
It’s a tour that will take you through a countless number of beautiful sights and sceneries of the area, especially amid the Fall season.
"To go out in one of our scooters in the open air to see the fields being harvested this time of the year and the fall colors, it’s just very original and unique," said Nicole Crusemire, co-owner of Strasburg Scooters. "It’s just breathtaking."
Between driving one of the scooters, there’s no shortage of stops along the way.
A visit to an Amish farm gets you up close and personal with horses and puppies while learning more about the Amish way of life.
Another stop gives you a rich history of one of Pennsylvania’s many covered bridges in the area.
From their covered bridge tour to an ice cream experience, whatever it is you want to explore, Strasburg Scooters has something for you.
"We have all kinds of tours out there throughout the year that we like to enjoy," said Crusemire. "You can find something for everyone."
Those who have taken the tour say it’s a one-of-a-kind experience.
"[It's] a must-try experience when you come to Strasburg," said Peninah Conaway, who traveled from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. "You have a better view of animals, the air hitting you in the face. I think that it’s an experience like no other."
