IT’S A GUSTY 24 HOURS
WIND ADVISORY in effect Monday from 2pm until Midnight.
Winds out of the northwest between 10-20 MPH and gusts up to 50 mph are possible. Drier air filters in clearing the clouds through the evening. Mostly clear skies overnight allow temperatures to drop the mid and upper 30s. The morning starts with breezy winds and they continue strong into the afternoon. It will be a cooler day with highs held in the lower to middle 50s under sunny skies. High pressure building in over the region relaxes the winds by Wednesday and provide abundant sunshine for the middle of the week too. Highs will rebound to near 60 with a shift in the winds to the southwest.
WET WEATHER RETURNS
The next system arrives Thursday bringing a threat for showers. They arrive late morning and will continue through the evening. Morning lows in the middle 40s, climb to the lower 60s. Mild temperatures in the lower 50s expected overnight. Showers continue through the beginning of the day Friday. Highs will warm to the middle and upper 60s but colder air finally makes a return over the weekend.
WARMEST MARCH TO A MUCH COOLER APRIL START
Big changes expected to the temperature pattern. While March will go down as a record warmth month, we begin the first week of April well below average. It looks like a chillier pattern setting up to begin the month as high temperatures struggle through the upper 40s and lower 50s.
