Power outages reported across Central Pa. during winter storm

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — UPDATE (8:00 p.m.): Most of the power outages across Central Pennsylvania have been resolved.

PREVIOUSLY: Thousands of people in South Central Pa. are without power on Saturday due to weather conditions.

As of 12 p.m., Met-Ed lists 348 customers affected in Adams County, 320 in Cumberland County, 589 in Dauphin County, and 1,978 affected in York County.

Met-Ed says severe weather is causing the power outages and so far they do not have an estimated time for when customers can expect to get their power back.

In Lancaster County, there are currently 1,917 people without power also because of the winter weather passing through the region.

Places in Lancaster County with the most people affected are East Hempfield Township with 355, Manheim Township with 451, and Mount Joy Township with 490 customers affected.
