Tracking Hurricane Debby | Latest spaghetti models, forecast

Here's how you can track the latest on Hurricane Debby.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Debby continues to bring heavy rain, strong wind, and storm surge to southeast Monday evening after making landfall along Florida's Big Bend region earlier Monday morning.

The storm, which briefly strengthened to a category 1 hurricane, is expected to slowly move along the southeast coast through the middle of the week. As it does so, potentially historic rainfall is expected, with the heaviest along the Georgia and South Carolina coastline. Some spots could see 20+ inches of rain by the time the storm is done.

Computer models indicate that the remnants of Debby will eventually lift north along the East Coast.

Some of that moisture could impact South Central Pennsylvania. While exact totals and details will get worked out as the storm gets closer, current modeling indicates Friday into Saturday as the most likely days that we could see tropically enhanced rainfall in our area.

We'll continue to monitor the path and impacts from this tropical system as it advances north.
