YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Some people were rescued after being stranded on Campground Island on Friday amid heavy rain.
Crews responded to the 6000 block of Big Mt. Road in Dover for a report of people stranded on Campground Island around noon on Aug. 9.
Emergency personnel could be seen transporting people off the island through water and back to the mainland.
There have been no reported injuries at this time.
