HARRISBURG, Pa. — The FOX43 Weather Team has issued Weather Impact Alert Days today through Saturday as our next heat wave of the season starts.
Temperatures will climb into the low to mid-90s every day. However, when you factor in high humidity, heat index numbers will climb between 95 and 100 degrees.
The peak heating of the day will occur between noon and 8 p.m. During those times, make sure you're practicing heat safety if you have to be outside. Wearing light-colored, loose-fitting clothing is best to help your body stay cool.
Make sure you're drinking lots of water and staying hydrated too.
There will be a chance for pop-up storms every day through the end of the week, providing some people with brief relief.
