Fire Weather Watch issued for central Pennsylvania | Weather Impact Alert

Due to low relative humidity, dry brush after lack of rain, and strong wind gusts between 20 and 25+ mph, there will be a high risk for fire spread today.

A FOX43 Weather Impact Alert has been issued for a Fire Weather Watch that covers our entire area from noon until 7 p.m. Friday.

Due to low relative humidity, dry brush as a result of lack of rainfall, and strong wind gusts between 20 and 25+ mph, there will be a high risk for fire spread today.

Due to these critical fire weather conditions, outdoor burning is not recommended. Look to local officials for burn bans and restrictions in place. Burn bans currently in effect include but are not limited to Lebanon County, Oxford Township, Waynesboro and York County.
