Freeze warning issued for Juniata, Mifflin counties; frost advisory for Central Pa. Thursday morning | Weather Impact Alert

Temperatures this cold, especially below freezing, could kill tender vegetation.

YORK, Pa. — The FOX43 Weather Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday for freeze conditions and patchy frost.

There’s a FREEZE WARNING for Mifflin and Juniata Counties during this timeframe, but patchy areas of frost are possible in some spots across the rest of the area where a FROST ADVISORY is in effect.

Easing winds and clear skies will allow temperatures in Mifflin and Juniata Counties to dip into the low 30s, with many at or a little below freezing. The rest of the area can expect temperatures in the middle to upper 30s. These are conditions for frost formation.
