PENNSYLVANIA, USA — The FOX43 Weather Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday for freeze conditions and widespread frost.

There’s a FREEZE WARNING for Cumberland, Dauphin, Adams, York and Lancaster counties during this timeframe. Temperatures are expected to dip as low as 30 degrees for many.

Light winds and clear skies will allow temperatures to dip into the upper 20s to middle 30s, with many at or a little below freezing. These are conditions for widespread frost formation, potential damage to any remaining outdoor vegetation, and frozen pipes.

Those with agricultural interests should take measures to protect any temperature-sensitive plants, but the growing season is almost over. Cover outdoor plants and bring any potted plants indoors by the evening. Turn off any outside faucets to prevent damaged pipes.
