Who I am…

I am a Pennsylvania girl, born and raised in the Keystone State with a love for Philly sports. A proud alum of West Virginia University (Let’s Go Mountaineers!!) I began working right after college in West Virginia as a sports reporter, anchor and eventually become the director for a local TV station. I was considered one of the first female sports directors in the state. I am very excited to be back home working in PA…spending time with my amazing family and let’s not forget getting a home-cooked meal more often (bonus!!)

What I like to do…

I love watching and covering sports… March Madness is like a second Christmas to me. You better believe I can compete when it comes to yelling at the TV especially if my favorite teams are playing. I love to workout whether it’s running outside or at the gym and when there is warm weather my favorite place is the beach. Laughing is always the best medicine even if it’s at myself.

The best part of my job is…

There are never two days that are exactly alike when working at a news station. I have met so many interesting people with some incredible stories. The constant chance of interviewing and telling someone’s story makes this job truly unique.

You can email me your story ideas at amccall@fox43.com
