Central Pennsylvania born and raised, I couldn’t be happier to bring the news in the place where I grew up. I’m an Alum of Cedar Cliff High School and Penn State, where I majored in Broadcast Journalism. The new girl on the Assignment Desk, I started my career in May 2012.

I started working in television during the summer of 2011 as an intern here at Fox 43 and they liked me enough to hire me a year later.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sneaking in the occasional Penn State football game. I love singing and Broadway shows, I just wish I had more time (and money!) to go see them in New York City.

If you have any news tips or story ideas email me at amsmith@fox43.com.
