    Customers without power decreases significantly in Lancaster County, per the outage map

    LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.– UPDATE (2:54 p.m.): The outages are down to only nine customers, according to the outage map. UPDATE (11:00 a.m.): The number of affected customers by the PPL outage has dropped to 400, according to the outage map.     ADAMS COUNTY, Pa.– Crews worked to put out a barn fire early Thursday morning. Emergency dispatch said crews were dispatched to the 300 block of Sells Station Road in Union Township around 2:20 a.m. for a barn fire.     LEBANON COUNTY, Pa.– A man is dead and another is injured after a two-vehicle crash. According to the release, the crash on July 17 around 1:00 p.m. on Lickdale Road in Swatara Township. A 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution was traveling west on Lickdale Road while a 2014 Ram Truck was traveling eastbound. The vehicles collided, causing major damage to both.   • Handgun, purse stolen out of vehicle in Chambersburg

    FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa.– A purse and handgun were stolen out of a victim’s vehicle in Chambersburg. On July 17 sometime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., suspect(s) broke into a victim’s vehicle that was parked in the 1600 block of Orchard Drive. A purse and Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm handgun, similar to those pictured above, were stolen from the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chambersburg Police Department.
