Hello and welcome!
Thank you for wandering off the beaten news path and onto my little piece of FOX43 heaven.
I began my illustrious career with WPMT in 2011 after graduating from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications.

I have taken on many different roles during my time at the station. I first began as an intern with the sports department then worked as a crew member for the morning show. I slowly climbed the ranks as a part time writer/producer for the four o’clock show and now here I am today as a full time producer! It just goes to prove, hard work does pay off!

A few fun facts about me!

1.I was born in Fort Hood, Texas (But unfortunately I did not live there long enough to develop a sweet, sultry Southern accent)
2.I am one of three girls (And yes I do suffer from “middle child syndrome” or so I claim)
3.I have a very sarcastic humor and I am constantly making those around me laugh (I have always said I should be a comedian rather than a producer)
4.And yes, my last name really is Cherry (I get asked that question more than you would think)
In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading, watching movies, playing volleyball and cheering on my favorite sports teams; the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penn State Nittany Lions!
