  • Fire tears through duplex in Lancaster City

    A fast-moving fire tore through a home on East Chestnut Street on Lancaster City Saturday afternoon. Flames broke out in the basement of the home around 3:00 and quickly spread next door. “We seen it before anybody got here.   • Central York HS raises money at Mini-Thon

    Students danced the day away at Central York High School Saturday. The school held a Mini-Thon for 12 hours to raise money for the Four Diamonds Fund. The fund provides money for children being treated for cancer at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Students hope the event will raise $50,000.
