    YORK, Pa. — A shooting in York sends one man to the hospital. Police responded to a shots fired call in the area of Lindberg and Lafayette Streets. Officers did not find a victim, but did find evidence of a shooting. A short time later the shooting victim, Daren Guzman of York arrived at York Hospital. His injuries were not serious.

    MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A late night fire broke out at the Neptune Diner along the 2400 block of Prince Street in Manheim Township, Lancaster County. The fire broke out in the kitchen around 11:45 Monday night. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames. No one was hurt. Officials could not confirm the extent of the damage.

    FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Crews worked to put out a house fire in Fairview Township, York County. The fire started at a home along Farm House Lane around 1:20 Monday morning. No one was hurt. Officials are trying to determine what caused the fire.

    Power has been restored to the affected the customers. —– About 950 PPL customers are without power this morning in the Harrisburg area. Crews are working to restore electricity to everyone affected. PPL estimates the power should be back on around 4:30 Thursday morning.

    Crews respond to gas leak inside East Lampeter Township Walmart

    EAST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Employees and customers had to be evacuated from a Walmart in Lancaster County Tuesday night due to a gas leak. It happened at the store along the 2000 block of Lincoln Highway East just before midnight. No injuries have been reported. Officials are currently working to ventilate the building at this time.

  • Ride loses power at Shippensburg Fair; strands several people

    SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – A ride at the Shippensburg Fair lost power Tuesday night, which left several people stranded for about an hour. It happened around 9:30 on the Zipper ride. Crews were able to get everyone safely off the ride. No one was hurt.

    At least two people were injured in a car crash along Interstate 83 in York county Sunday night. It happened around 11:00 p.m. near mile marker 20, just north of the Market Street exit.     HARRISBURG, Pa. – Police identify the man killed in an overnight shooting in Harrisburg as 34 year old Christopher Williams. It happened around 1:15 Thursday morning along the 1500 block of State Street. Williams was pumping gas at the Exxon Station when he was shot in the chest.   • At least nine killed in Alaska plane crash

    KETCHIKAN, Ak. — Nine people are dead this morning after a float plane carrying cruise ship passengers crashed in Alaska. A pilot and all eight passengers died when the aircraft crashed into a cliff in southeast Alaska late last night. The eight passengers were from the MS Westerdam, which left Seattle on Saturday for a seven-day roundtrip cruise. This is a developing story and we will keep you updated throughout the morning.
