  • Teen faces attempted homicide charges in Chambersburg

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa- A teenager is facing several charges, including attempted homicide, after what police are calling  a violent attack. According to police a man was found  unconscious, behind a home along North Fourth Street, just before 10 p.m. Friday. He was flown to York Hospital and is in serious condition. Police  say a 17-year-old from New Jersey is being charged as an adult, but police have not released his name.

  • Police investigate armed robbery at Lancaster Brewing Company in Swatara Township

    SWATARA TWP, Dauphin County, Pa- Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Lancaster Brewing Company along Eisenhower Blvd in Swatara Township. According to police, three black males, armed with guns and a rifle, entered the rear of the business just before 11:00 p.m. Saturday and robbed several employees at gunpoint.   • Police looking for woman who strangled and beat man with a hammer

    STEELTON, Dauphin County, Pa-Police are looking for a woman after they say she struck a man with a hammer last month. Steelton Borough Police say on October 29th,  Ashley Courts, 30, pushed the victim down a flight of stairs, strangled him to the point of being unconscious before hitting him in the head with a claw hammer.     CARLISLE, Pa- Police in Carlisle are looking for a woman a with mental illness. Myra Mason Cox was last seen about 3 weeks ago. Police received the information at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Cox is described as a white woman, 5 foot 2 inches, 165 pounds, with blue eyes and sandy blonde hair. Police say she may be in need of medicine for mental issues.   • Vehicle fire closes portion of I-81 in Cumberland County

    Carlisle, Pa- A section of Interstate 81 near Carlisle is shut down due to a reported vehicle fire. According to Cumberland County 911, the vehicle burst into flames in the southbound lanes near the College Street exit. So far no injuries have been reported. Delays are to be expected in the area.
