  • 2019 All-American Dairy Show kicks off in Harrisburg

    HARRISBURG – An annual tradition kicked off in this weekend in Dauphin County. Farmers from around the country gathered at the PA Farm Show Complex for the 56th All-American Dairy Show. The show brings nearly 2,000 of the best dairy cattle to Central Pennsylvania. Youngsters displayed some of that cattle on Sunday at the Youth Showmanship Contest.     UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Cumberland County – A free 12-week exercise program at the YMCA of York and York County offered a day of healing through fishing on Saturday.   • Ford recalls more than 300,000 Explorers due to sharp seat-frame edge

    Ford Motor Company is issuing a safety recall for certain 2017 Ford Explorer vehicles for an improperly coined seat-frame edge. Ford is aware of 31 reports of hand injuries attributed to this condition. The recall affects 311,907 vehicles in the United States and federal territories, 23,380 in Canada and 3,045 in Mexico.     HARRISBURG – Artists from all over the country celebrated a colorful Harrisburg. Sprocket Mural Works hosted its Harrisburg Mural Festival closing block party on Sunday.   • York Habitat for Humanity hosts home dedication ceremony for veteran and his family in York County

    Newberry Township, YORK COUNTY – A pair of new homeowners celebrated their new home during a dedication ceremony. The York Habitat for Humanity hosted the ceremony on Saturday. The home went to a local, disabled veteran and his family. Construction for the home began in May of 2016 and was all made possible thanks to volunteers and York Habitat.
