Clouds were stubborn today but the sun managed to poke through from time to time. Highs right where they were expected in the mid 40s. Winds are still breezy but should relax later this evening. Tonight, skies will clear and with calmer winds, lows will drop into the upper 20s to around 30.
Tomorrow more sunshine is expected but will mix with clouds from time to time. Highs will be seasonal in the low 40s.
High pressure continues to dominate the area keeping us dry with more sunshine by Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will be a bit milder in the upper 40s to near 50 by the end of the week.
For the weekend, the best of the two days will be Saturday. The high slips to our east allowing the approach of a cold front. Winds will shift bringing milder air in the low 50s and it will also increase the clouds. Showers should hold off until Saturday night. Sunday showers will be likely, cooler with highs in the low to mid 40s.
We’ll be watching a storm system, which will come up from the southwest, mid-week next week. It has the potential to bring snow to the area. Of course we will continue to monitor the forecast models and see how things come together as we get into next week.
