Twenty-five years have passed and still no arrests have been made in connection to a cold case homicide in Lancaster City. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

It was during the early morning hours of December 7, 1987 when a family member discovered Carrie Marshall, dead inside her home on the 500 block of South Duke Street, police said.

The scene appeared to indicate that a burglary had taken place when Marshall was killed, investigators said. Autopsy reports show sustained numerous injuries from a sharp-edged weapon.

After 25 years, investigators have interviewed dozens of people, yet no substantial leads have developed.

The Marshall family continues to seek closure.
