A Middletown woman is facing drug and DUI charges after she mistakenly drove onto an army base thinking it was a home where a Christmas party was being held. It happened on Christmas eve at the U.S. Army Depot along the 2000 block of Mission Drive in New Cumberland.
Jennifer Muzic, 26, was arrested after she showed signs of intoxication when she attempted to drive past the guard and onto the base, according to police reports.
Muzic told officers she didn’t realize she was on the base and actually thought she was at her aunt’s house for a Christmas party, police said.
Muzic was arrested and charged with DUI and possession of a controlled substance.
She was taken to York County Booking for processing.
