PSU Head Coach Bill O’Brien pursued by NFL teams

It makes sense if you look at the results on the field.   Bill O’Brien earns Big Ten Coach of the Year honors for his work with the Nittany Lions under extremely challenging circumstances.   Now it appears the former New England Patriots offensive coordinator will have a chance to return to the NFL as a head coach.

ESPN is citing multiple league sources and reporting that O’Brien is at or near the top of the wish list for teams such as the Eagles and Cleveland Browns.   Andy Reid is expected to be fired on Monday after the Eagles finish off their regular season with a humiliating 42-7 loss to the New York Giants.   O’Brien bypassed a chance to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars so he may be choosy about the teams he shows interest in coaching.
