A Philadelphia woman is arrested for taking a loaded semi-automatic hand gun into a high school. Police say it was hidden inside a diaper bag. She claimed she didn’t realize it was there. Police say she has a history of assault. The seriel number on the gun was scratched off and the woman did not have a permit to carry it. Security is tight at South Philadelphia High School which has x-ray machines.

Let us note that this was an illegal gun. Altering a serial number is a crime in and of itself.
