The Baltimore Ravens will play the Denver Broncos in freezing temperatures in mile high altitudes. Ravens fans in Shrewsbury will watch the AFC Divisional Playoff game from the comfort of Ravens Nest #7 at Spataro’s Italian Restaurant in Shrewsbury Commons. The York County restaurant will be flooded with passionate, purple clad football fans on Saturday afternoon. They will flock to the nest to see if Joe Flacco, Ray Lewis and the rest of the guys can upset Peyton Manning and the Broncos.
A “W” yeah, I don’t care how they do it as long as they get the “W” we’re good to go,” said Stewartstown Ravens fan Derrick Hamm. Kay Paul of Glen Rock is hoping Ray Lewis will not be playing in his last game. “We want Ray Lewis to go out in style, with a bang and get that other ring he’s been wanting for a couple years,” she said.
Kickoff is at 4:30pm and there’s plenty of room in the nest.
