Super Bowl tweets surpass last year

The Super Bowl played a huge role on social media.   According to twitter, by the beginning of the second half, the number of tweets had already surpassed last year`s total of 13.7 million.
The moments getting the most tweets this year included Beyonce’s halftime performance which generated 5.5 million tweets.   The power outage was also big, a total of 231,000 tweets per minute were sent out during that time.  When the ravens won,  183,000 tweets per minute were tweeted.  In all, a total of 24.1 million tweets were tweeted during the entire game.
