Pope may be going blind

The outgoing Pontiff may be going blind.  This is according to a German journalist who interviews the Pope frequently.  Peter Seewald last interviewed the Pope ten weeks ago and said the change in his health was startling.  Seewald noted the Pontiff has gone completely blind in one eye and he’s losing his hearing as well.  He also says Pope Benedict XVI hinted at his retirement months ago.  The Pope will give his last general audience on February 27th.
