Former Miss America, Marilyn Van Derbur, in York Wednesday talking about child sexual abuse and the need for prevention and awareness. At the event sponsored by the York County Children’s Advocacy Center and Turning Point Van Derbur talked about her recovery after years of incest. The founder of Turning Point says one of the goals of the event is to break the silence that shrouds the issue of child sexual abuse. Also on hand at the event Fox43’s Amy Lutz.
