Philadelphia gym deemed “Historic”

The Philadelphia gym where former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier lived and trained is getting a big honor.   Senator Pat Toomey making the announcement today that the gym in North Philly is being added to the National Register of Historic Places.  Frazier began training at the gym in 1968–he worked out there while preparing for 1971’s “Fight of the Century” against Muhammad Ali.
