McFadden was another bishop in the middle of a diocese that knew about at least 35 known pedophile priests back in 1994, and shredded the evidence, causing a lifetime of torment for hundreds of victims. McFadden worked for all the lead pedophile protectors – Krol, Rigali, and Bevilacqua, and claimed to know nothing, although the others all lied about it.

Bevilacqua lied under oath, but died before it was proven. Rigali lied to an entire congregation, saying there were no accused pedophile priests in the diocese, and was proven a liar 2 weeks later.

McFadden was loud about fighting the lifestyle of the gays, but never complained about the protection of his pedophile priest brothers.

We’ll never know how much he knew, and if he lied like the cardinals, or just hid the truth like other bishops, but God now decides whether McFadden’s complicity in Philly’s pedophile protection program should condemn him to an eternity of torment.

He's paying the piper for humping all those kids with his buddies.

These people need to learn discipline and refrain from these activities that keep hurting people but I doubt they will.

Bishop McFadden was a great man who helped thousands of people. Any one who casts aspersions upon this great man is an example of just how evil people can be. Rest in peace Bishop McFadden. You go to a much better place beyond such hardened souls.
