A North Middleton Township neighborhood is on alert after a recent bear sighting. Police received a call on Friday morning after a bear was spotted in the area of Kendoor Summit and Old Gap Road between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Police caution residents to keep bird feeders, grills and garbage cans in a locked shed or garage.
People are urged not to approach the bear and if you see it to contact 911.
