Huge stash of stolen merchandise recovered in York County

Police in York County spent hours Friday evening recovering a huge stash of merchandise stolen  from a retail store in West York Borough.   Borough police executed a search warrant at an address in the 1200 West Market Street.  The merchandise was allegedly stolen from a General Dollar store by a female suspect who lived in the house just several doors away on the same block.   Police allege that some employees at the store allowed the woman to shoplift merchandise worth 10,s of thousands of dollars over a period of several months.  The amount of stolen merchandise filled a 14 foot rental.

Three suspects are in custody and investigators are questioning a fourth person.
