Drugs, guns and cash are seized in a pair of drug raids in York City on Thursday. Seven people face charges and two suspects remain at large. Police executed a search warrant at a home in the 600 block of North Pershing Avenue. Officers seized 50 gram of Marijuana, $1600 in cash, two rifles, two shotguns and two pistols.
Brittney and Brandon Arkward are charged with Possession with Intent to deliver Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Felon not to Possess a Firearm.
City Narcotics Unit officers also executed a search warrant at a second floor apartment in the 600 block of West Market Street. Inside they found $16,000 worth of Crack Cocaine $300 worth of Heroin, Marijuana with a street value of $35 in packaging materials, scales, crack cocaine cooking paraphernalia and $1,859 in cash.
Three people inside the apartment, 20 year old Laquane Beatty, 23 old Luis Rodriguez, and 22 year old Talysha Hughes face a laundry list of drug charges. Police are also seeking two men who live in the apartment, 46 year old Harold Beatty, and 22 year old Harold Beatty, Junior. Both men should be considered dangerous.
