A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a 17-year-old girl who was abducted from a home in Schuylkill County early Saturday morning. State police say Cassidy Bowers, was taken from 305 Howard Avenue in Pottsville around 6 a.m.
Authorities believe she was abducted by 20-year-old Stephen Campion Jr. after he assaulted another person at the residence.
Bowers is described as 5′ 8″ in height, 120 pounds with shoulder length black hair and brown eyes.
Pottsville Police told WNEP that the abduction is connected to a house fire and assault investigation.
