West Shore Regional Police investigate a report of an attempted child luring in Wormleysburg.  It happened at around 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon along North River Street in the borough.  The 13 year old victim told officers that just before she approached Pine Street, a man in a  gold pickup truck drove up and reportedly said to her, “Hey hon, you OK? I can give you a ride”

The girl said she replied that she was fine and kept walking. The man asked her two more times before she ran into a yard. The pickup circled the block and again attempted to approach the victim.  The victim ran to her home.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50’s, heavyset with “ginger” colored short hair, mustache, and beard stubble.  The pickup had an extended cap, no cap on the truck bed. It also had a black bumper sticker on the rear bumper approximately 12 inches in size.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact West Shore Regional Police at (717) 238-9676.

Is this becoming a Susquehanna Valley pastime? Why can't these people play with the kinky adults who pretend they are children? Yes, there are people like that on the Internet.
