SHOWERS FADE OVERNIGHT

Small storm chance Monday

A weak cold front slipping across the region is bringing some gusty showers this afternoon across the Lower Susquehanna Valley.  Some of the showers could produce brief downpours.  They are fast moving, so don’t expect them to linger for long.  The evening dries out.  Only a few isolated showers are possible.  Once the showers are gone, the overnight is dry and mainly cloudy.  Low temperatures fall into the lower to middle 60s.

STORMY START

Monday the front hangs just to our southeast.  As a result, there is an isolated chance for a few thunderstorms.  It looks to be a mainly dry day.  Highs reach the lower to middle 80s.  Another weak disturbance slides through Tuesday.  This keeps the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the picture.  Highs are near 80 degrees.

SUNNY STRETCH

Sunshine settles in again by the middle of the week.  Mostly sunny skies are expected Wednesday through Friday.  We’re  watching for the chance of a stray thunderstorm.  For now, however, it’s looking dry.  Highs are in the lower 80s.  Saturday an isolated thunderstorm chance arrives.  A better chance occurs Sunday as our next storm system approaches.  Highs reach the middle to upper 80s through the weekend.

Have a great week!
