York native Jon Scallion spent months as a contestant on Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen. Thursday night, he held a watch party at the New Grounds Roasting Company. Now that the show is airing he is back home and getting out into the community to support local businesses. He says he held the party there to support the shop because it uses local foods and brings the community together. Jon said the show was a once in a lifetime opportunity that he would do again.
“It’s really cool but, it’s hard. You don’t get to see your family so it really is Hell’s Kitchen,” says Scallion
Jon did make it through Thursday night’s episode. The show runs for another five weeks.
